Virginia Beach, VA—Beach Ambassadors, Veer Magazine, and Virginia Craft Beer Magazine are excited to announce the 10th Anniversary of the757 Battle of the Beers Festival featuring more than40Hampton Roads breweries and benefiting multiple non-profit organizations. The event will take placeSaturday, September24from 1pm to 6pm at State Military Reservation (formerlyCamp Pendleton)inVirginia Beach.AERMOR LLC, a local woman-owned, service-disabled veteran owned government contracting business, will be the Presenting Sponsor for the second year.
Beach Ambassadors’Founder, Andy Beale says,“When 757 Battle of the Beers started in 2013, it was hosted in a parking lot and featured seven breweries. We were really excited to have raised $3,000 for local charities.Now, 10 years later, the event features forty breweries and is attended by thousands of craft beer enthusiasts whose support has allowed us to have a tremendous impact on many philanthropic organizations. It has been an honor to serve as a Beach Ambassador for the past decade.”
In partnership with Veer Magazine and Virginia Craft Beer Magazine, Beach Ambassadors will present a memorable experience for craft beer enthusiasts at this award-winning and only 757-exclusive beer festival. Attendees will enjoy samples from more than40Hampton Roads breweries, food trucks, games, craft vendors, and more. Plus, they’ll watch as breweries compete on behalf their chosen charities. Awards will be given in three categories: “Brewer’s Choice,” “People’s Choice,” and “Battle of the Brewers.” Event proceeds will benefit the winning breweries’ charities, St. Mary’s Home, and HopeHouse Foundation.This year’s festival artist isMichael Kendrick, a freelance artist based in Newport News, VA.Entertainment will be provided by multiple bands including national recording artist, Passafire.
